Job Summary:
The Energy Modeling Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Energy Engineering team by conducting energy modeling analysis and providing technical expertise for various energy projects. 5. Analyze energy data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and provide actionable insights to drive energy efficiency initiatives.
6. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing modeling results, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
7. Stay updated on emerging energy modeling tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve energy modeling capabilities.
8. Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate and reliable energy models are developed and maintained.
9. Support the Energy Engineering Manager in evaluating and selecting appropriate energy modeling software and tools.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in energy modeling, energy engineering, or a related field.
3. Proficient in utilizing energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST, TRNSYS) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R) to perform complex energy simulations and analysis.
4. Strong understanding of energy systems, thermodynamics, and energy-efficient technologies.
5. Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methods and experience in handling large energy datasets.
6. Familiarity with building systems and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems is highly desirable.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
